Unified Sprite System v1.5 is built on fallback-first logic. Every feature has a graceful backup path, so your game never breaks—even when mixing sprite formats, terrain tags, or follower behaviors. Smooth motion, natural wall sliding, and intelligent layering make your characters feel alive and consistent across every scene.

FEATURES:
Pixel-Tweened Motion – smooth interpolation between tiles for fluid character movement.
Wall-Hugging Diagonal Fallback – diagonal inputs slide along walls instead of failing.
RTP Moonwalk Support – RTP sprites keep facing their last cardinal direction while moving diagonally.
Diagonal Speed Normalization – ensures diagonal movement isn’t faster than straight movement.
Follower Animation Offsets – staggered follower animations for a natural, less robotic look.
Configurable Cadence – separate walk/run cadence settings for RTP and Low’s 100×100 sprites. (Still testing but is working on a hard-coded level)
Smoothed Follower Chase – followers use diagonal slide logic and mirror leader animations when close.
Unified Sprite Reader (USER) – auto-detects RTP, RTPX, and Low sprite sheets with fallback to vanilla.
Unified Sprite Bounding – terrain-tag-based layering pushes sprites above scenery (bridges, arches, etc.).
Overlay Toggle Patch – press / to toggle a debug overlay highlighting event bounding boxes (state saved in save data). << this is placeholder and it only there for my other plugins to use.
